Tracy Harris

2011 Show Producer

“When I was a child, I sang because it was fun! Now, I minister through song because it’s my destiny.”

Tracey R. Harris was born destined to sing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A native of Chicago, Tracey accepted his call to the ministry of music at the young age of 12. Since then, he has contributed greatly in the areas of music ministry, performing arts, community service, and entrepreneurial ventures. Through many years of studying under the tutelage of some of gospel greats, Tracey has evolved into an anointed Praise & Worship leader, gifted psalmist, and creative arranger. As well making music for God’s glory, Tracey is a teacher and developer of Praise & Worship teams and gospel choirs.

Tracey serves as the Praise & Worship Leader for the Gospel Choice Award winning St. James United Methodist Church located at 3000 Webb Bridge Road, Alpharetta, Georgia. He is known for his electrifying style of praise and worship.

“I want to give all that I can to the Christian community encouraging everyone elevate their praise & worship. I enjoy every opportunity to lead all of God’s people of all races, nationalities, and cultures in Praise & Worship.”

Tracey has been featured on numerous CD recordings with gospel artists across the country. Most recently, he is featured on the new Georgia Mass Choir CD entitled “Tell It.” He has also toured as lead vocalist and actor throughout Europe and the United States in the Irish production, Riverdance.

Tracey has also made an impact with his spirit for community service. He regularly participates in KABOOM builds, Habitat for Humanity, and volunteers his time to support activities in his residential community as well.

Tracey serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Georgia’s only gospel newspaper publication. Taking a leap of faith, the Gospel Tribune Atlanta newspaper was launched in 2011 reaching homes across the state of Georgia.
