Pastor Marvin A. Moss and his Cascade United Methodist Church family are living examples of their 2009 theme, Seeking GOD's Will, Serving GOD's People, and Sharing GOD's Word. Cascade strives to be a Christ-centered church which utilizes the spiritual gifts of the congregation, while becoming an even more active partner in local, national and global communities.

Reverend Moss is the Senior Pastor of Cascade United Methodist Church. He assumed this position on June 22, 2006, having served as Senior Pastor at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia since 1999.

Since coming to Cascade, Pastor Moss has completed two (2) mission trips to Africa:  Malawi in 2007and Ghana in July, 2009.

Marvin Anthony Moss was born on May 23, 1963, in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Hampton University, the Naval Chaplains Reserve Officers School, and holds a Masters of Divinity from Gammon Theological Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC). He is currently a Doctoral candidate at Drew University, and was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees at Gammon Theological Seminary.

Pastor Moss is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. His community service and special honors include the Grady Health System Board of Visitors, Regional Council of Churches, Georgia Department of Corrections Faith and Community-Based Advisory Board, Denman Evangelism Award, NAACP Emancipation Award, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers of Morehouse College.
