Bishop Marshall S. McGill is a native of Dayton Ohio. He was educated in the Ohio and Alabama educational systems, and has Advanced Studies in Biblical Counseling and Pastoral Care respectively, along with a Doctorate of Humane Letters from WHBC. Along with advancing his educational studies, Bishop McGill served his country in the military for a number of years, and continues to give back to military families. Bishop McGill is Founder and Senior Pastor of Kingdom Metropolitan Worship Centre, a Non-Denominational Church located in Columbus, Georgia USA. He began this establishment with zero members; however, since this time Kingdom Metropolitan Worship Centre has become one of the most progressive churches in Columbus, Ga. and the surrounding areas. Bishop McGill is also Founder of Bainbridge Christian Centre in Bainbridge, Georgia – Tallahassee, Florida, and soon to be Overseer of Grace Church in Barcelona, Spain. Bishop McGill has founded and established The Kingdom Life Bible School, a training program for ministers and leaders that serve in the body of Christ. He is Founder and President of The Good Samaritan Counseling & Resource Institute, in Columbus, Georgia where he provides biblical counseling to those that have been abused, hurt, and destitute. Bishop McGill recently Founded and is Superintendent of Kingdom Christian Academy & Preparatory School where he is dedicated to educating the youth of the city from every neighborhood, background, race, color, and creed.
Bishop McGill is a man that has dedicated his life to serving the world. He is well established as an International Conference Speaker and Teacher, traveling around the world to places such as: Egypt, Europe, Ghana, India, Israel, Southern Africa, Spain, and The Kingdom of Swaziland. Bishop McGill is overseer of “Go Ye Nations” in Nagercoil, India, with over 200 Pastors and Missionaries under his leadership and tutelage. Because of Bishop McGill’s passion, love and concern and contribution to disadvantaged and physically impaired children, a home in his honor was named, “Marshall McGill Children’s Home,” which provides shelter, nourishment, a source of love, and monthly financial support for children and families.
Bishop McGill has been anointed to communicate with government officials and has assisted in processes of decision making and the implementation of laws. Bishop McGill has spoken to Heads of State, the Georgia State Senate, and Local Governments, City Counsels, to include visits to the House of Representatives for the Annual Chaplain Appreciation Discussion Board. He served as Chaplain for the City Council of Columbus, Georgia, and is currently the active Chaplain for the Columbus, Georgia Federal Marshal's Law Enforcement Agency.
Bishop McGill’s commitment to reform our culture to biblical standards is no more evident than in his dedication in working with youth. He has an incredible heart for children, young adults, helping those that are in need, and empowering people to reach their full potential, and taking ownership of their dreams. Bishop McGill often states, "We have failed generations of the past, by neglecting to educate and train leaders that are qualified to carry the torch for tomorrow’s generation.”
Bishop McGill continues to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through media. He has been a guest on the airing of the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) with host, Clifton Davis. Bishop McGill has been a customary platform guest of Pastor Benny Hinn for the past three years, during the annual Benny Hinn Miracle Crusade, held in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been heard through published outlets around the world, and can be seen soon on his upcoming weekly television program entitled, "It's a New Day." Bishop McGill gives much honor to his pastor, spiritual father and mentor, Apostle Eddie L. Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia.
Bishop McGill has not only dedicated his life to the cause of ministry but to his family as well. He has been happily married to the beautiful and anointed, First Lady, Pastor Teresa Y. McGill, a native of Huntsville, Alabama for 25 years. Together they have committed to the parental oversight of four wonderful sons: Stephen, Jaye, Peter, and Paul. Bishop McGill is adored and respected by his wife and sons because of his ongoing sacrifices and hard work on a daily basis. The family has committed their lives to serving God and His people, and lives as disciples and examples for all to emulate.
