Kerwin B. Lee was born in Mansfield, LA to the parents of Philip and Thelma Lee. Although born in Louisiana, he was reared and educated in Los Angeles, California. After completing high school he accepted a basketball scholarship to attend Central Arizona College in Colledge, Arizona. He graduated from there with an Associate Arts Degree in General Education.
He furthered his basketball college career by attending the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
It was while in Alaska that he heard and accepted his call to preach and to prepare for full-time ministry.
Being obedient to the call, he enrolled in the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned a Master of Divinity Degree in Christian Education. He is also the recipient of a Doctorate of Divinity Degree from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida.
His Christian service and ministerial impact has been extremely diverse. He has served as a:
• Counselor with the Billy Graham Crusade
• Student pastor in Kingston, Jamaica
• Full-time Youth Pastor and Minister of Education
• Staff for, Young Life, a para-church organization
He is currently senior pastor and organizer of the Berean Christian Church in two counties, Stone Mountain, GA and Snellville, GA. He is the founder and president of A Word For The Times, Inc. He has also authored a book entitled, Winning the Battle Over Negative Emotions.
He is happily married to his lovely wife, Yolanda. They are the proud parents of two dynamic boys, Kerwin II and Kernard.
Pastor Kerwin B. Lee is rapidly becoming an influential force in the Christian community throughout the United States. He is a widely sought out author and speaker at revivals, conferences, seminars, workshops and retreats.
