When you experience the voice of Debi Dixon three words come to mind, melodious, anointed, and unique.
While other singers have mastered the art by professional training to enhance their talents, she is no different. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Voice Pedagogy from East Carolina University, along with over 21 years of professional training from various universities and institutions worldwide.
Debi Dixon a native of Brooklyn, NY presently resides in Atlanta, GA and is the minister of music at The Church of Gwinnett pastored by Jasper Williams III and Alecia Williams. She is currently signed to the Atlanta base gospel label EMK Entertainment. Her second solo project will be released early 2009. She has graced the stage with such artist as Andre Crouch, Donnie McClurkin, Bishop Timothy Wright, Richard Smallwood, Pastor John P. Key and many others to name a few. Although Debi has recorded 16 CD’s to her credit her first solo project was recorded 2004 My Soul Desire. She has obtained many awards and much recognition has been given to her for her music ministry and for her love of winning souls to the body of Christ. She has travel extensively around the world from East, West and South Africa, Central and South America, Italy, Japan and many other countries spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ in song. She is the single mother of three; Adina, Alexx and Alan. Her greatest desire is sharing the grace of God through the venue of music and the expression of worship.
